چکیده
The propagation of dissipative electrostatic (ion-acoustic) solitary waves in a magnetized plasma with trapped electrons is considered via the Schamel formalism. direction assumed to be arbitrary, i.e., oblique respect magnetic field, for generality. A non-Maxwellian (nonthermal) two-component considered, consisting an inertial ion fluid, cold simplicity, and electrons. (kappa) κ-type distribution adopted electron population, addition particle trapping taken into account phase space. damped version Schamel-type equation derived potential, its analytical solution, representing wave, used examine nonlinear features ion-acoustic presence influence relevant configuration parameters, namely percentage electrons, superthermality (spectral) index, on wave characteristics investigated.

Modulational instability of dust ion acoustic waves in astrophysical dusty plasmas with non thermal electrons
Propagation of dust ion acoustic waves in plasmas composed of nonthermal distributed electrons and stationary dust particles is investigated. Nonlinear Schrdinger equation is derived to describe small amplitude waves, using the reduction perturbation technique. Modulation instability of dust ion acoustic waves is analysed for this system. Parametric investigation indicates that growth rate of...
متن کاملQuantum Ion Acoustic Solitary and Shock Waves in Dissipative Warm Plasma with Fermi Electron and Positron
Ion-acoustic solitary and shock waves in dense quantum plasmas whose constituents are electrons, positrons, and positive ions are investigated. We assume that ion velocity is weakly relativistic and also the effects of kinematic viscosity among the plasma constituents is considered. By using the reductive perturbation method, the Korteweg–deVries–Burger (KdV-B) equation is derived. Keywords—Ion...
متن کاملAnomalous width variation of rarefactive ion acoustic solitary waves in the context of auroral plasmas
The presence of dynamic, large amplitude solitary waves in the auroral regions of space is well known. Since their velocities are of the order of the ion acoustic speed, they may well be considered as being generated from the nonlinear evolution of ion acoustic waves. However, they do not show the expected width-amplitude correlation for K-dV solitons. Recent POLAR observations have actually re...
متن کاملdissipative dust acoustic solitary waves in an electron depleted dusty plasma with superthermal ions
dust acoustic (da) solitary waves are investigated in an unmagnetized dusty plasma comprising of fluid warm dust particles and kappa distributed ions. we assume the electron number density to be sufficiently depleted in this fluid model, i.e., ne nd . we consider the usual ad hoc damping term, involving the damping rate due to the dust–neutral collisions; and derived the modified dis...
